Red Bull Skateboarding Touring The Balkans

Red Bull Skateboarding is uncovering the Balkan skate spots to the world in the latest film “Unknown Treasures” which premiered this and last week in two parts.

So the Red Bull Skateboarding Balkan story, it was the end of summer two years ago when we noticed on friendly Instagram profiles that Wes Kremer, Madars Apse, Josef Scott, Ben Skrzypek, Tino Arena, and the filming crew are in Prishtina and planning to come to Skopje in a couple of days. The excitement was overwhelming and the word spread quickly among the local skaters.

Ohrid legend Martin Ristevski comes out with a new part for POPCORN SKATE CO in which he rips and dips the spots around the Ohrid riviera.

Hitting sketchy spots and rough terrain was bread and butter for the Ohrid crew for decades. And yet that lack of big plazas and spacy city squares became breeding ground for a tough new generation of skaters always searching for anything skateable to take that new slappy or no comply flat ground trick to the next level.
