Red Bull Skateboarding Touring The Balkans

Red Bull Skateboarding is uncovering the Balkan skate spots to the world in the latest film “Unknown Treasures” which premiered this and last week in two parts.

So the Red Bull Skateboarding Balkan story, it was the end of summer two years ago when we noticed on friendly Instagram profiles that Wes Kremer, Madars Apse, Josef Scott, Ben Skrzypek, Tino Arena, and the filming crew are in Prishtina and planning to come to Skopje in a couple of days.  The excitement was overwhelming and the word spread quickly among the local skaters.

After dropping a line to Madars we organized a friendly welcome in front of their place to stay hitting sports right away and ending at Goce in the evening. Then the rest of the days flowed around Skopje like a river.

The peak of Balkan skateboarding is yet to come. Stay tuned for the ride!
