Custom 4130 CrMo Steel Frame Construction

This generation of the Ragley Big Wig features an optimised frame design to provide even greater comfort than before. Featuring subtle geometry tweaks to enhance the riding experience that this bike provides, while still retaining the tried and tested stiffness and excellent power-transfer to the rear wheel. Engineered from custom triple butted 4130 CrMo tubing, creating a frame that is lightweight, provides comfort-enhancing flex while ensuring the exceptional stability that Ragley hardtails are known for. To meet modern design demands, this frame has been refined to feature ISCG 05 chainguide tabs, a 44mm headtube, is internal dropper seatpost compatible and has a stiff, performance-enhance bolt-through 12x148mm rear axle.

All these frame enhancements are complemented by the great specification that this bike has been equipped with. Featuring the superb RockShox Revelation 130mm travel fork, this fork stands up to its name, and truly is a revelation to the world of trail and all mountain riding. To ensure efficient power-transfer and precise drivetrain performance, the Ragley Big Wig is equipped with a Shimano SLX 11-Speed drivetrain, complete with hydraulic disc brakes. This groupset ensures that any effort to accelerate, descend, maintain speed and control braking performance is satisfying, instant and reliable. Rolling on Formula/WTB wheels and WTB tyres and complete with a Brand-X dropper seatpost, which enhances comfort and has been finished with a Ragley finishing kit. This bike is ready for the wildest adventures, most epic trail riding sessions, evening XC runs and carving the mountainside with friends.
