Travis Rice, Jackson Hole and the largest snowfall in 20 years

Travis Rice in combination with 264 inches of total snowfall season to date in Rendezvous Bowl and snow depths of 86 inches,  marks one of the DEEPest Decembers in 51 years at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR).

Snowfall for December 2016 in Rendezvous Bowl totaled almost 13 feet and was 192% of normal and snow depths are 147% of normal marking this December as the second snowiest in the resort’s history only behind December 1996.

Travis Rice is an American professional snowboarder. He is #13 on Snowboarder magazine’s list of the 20 most influential snowboarders of the last 20 years. Having won gold medals in over 23 competitions including the X-Games, Red Bull Supernatural, Icer Air, Quicksilver Natural Selection and many more.
