When the year started 6 months ago in New Zealand this was the goal for Sam and the dream for us. Sam’s season has been simply incredible, carefully managing his races with his mechanic Jacy to take 5 podiums and never finish out of the top 6. An huge battle all year with former Nukeproof rider Greg Callaghan and young French star Adrien Dailly.

Finale Ligure was always going to be the tough one. 2 huge days and 7 brutal stages and a venue that has been on the race circuit since the EWS was formed. But again Sam managed to combine blistering pace with incredible race management to finish on the podium behind Damien Otton, 1st and Martin Maes, 2nd.

Congratulations and thank you!
