Eurobike Award registration is open!

The Eurobike Award is one of the bicycle industry’s leading design prizes. As such, the coveted award receives a great deal of interest. Last year, some 500 new products and innovations were entered and 51 winners were finally selected. This year, entries are now open for the Eurobike Award 2017. And there is a new separate category for pioneering start-ups.

“We have introduced the Start-up Award category for the growing number of newlyestablished businesses in the bike industry, who also exhibit at Eurobike. We look forward to receiving large numbers of applications from innovative bike start-ups,” says Dirk Heidrich, Eurobike project manager, Messe Friedrichshafen.

A transparent portal for bike bloggers and the industry – Blogger’s code ensures quality. Writing and riding are two passions, brought together in one platform: The Wriders’ Club (TWC).

The leading trade show Eurobike and the pressedienst-fahrrad are establishing this new platform for bike blogs with the goal of make the work of digital influencers more visible by bringing them together on one single website. A JOURNEY BEYOND – FROM ISTANBUL TO TEHRAN – Marc Maurer

The word ‘epic’ is often over used, but when it comes from our friend Marc Maurer, who last year rode from Cologne to the Black Sea and decided rather than to fly home, he’d just turn around and ride back…we had to pay attention.

 Marc’s journey is fully justified as ‘epic’ he left mid of May 2015 headed for Istanbul, Turkey and the Caucasus mountains. His journey was total 4000km, passing through culturally rich regions of Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and finally Iran.
